What to expect

A class lasts sixty minutes and always runs the same way

That fixed build-up keeps things clear, even if you have never done anything with self-defence before.

Applying the technique in a realistic situation, under light pressure.
  5. 5

    Wrap-up

Cooling down, a short look back and naming what went better than last time.

No experience needed

Everyone starts once. The instructor knows you are new and explains everything again.

Sportswear is enough

A T-shirt, sports trousers and clean indoor shoes. Gear to practise with is provided.

You train at your own level

You practise with someone who matches your pace and strength. Taking part comes before doing it perfectly.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be fit to take part?

No. You train at your own pace and the drills can be adjusted. Plenty of people start precisely because they have not done any sport for a while. The instructor keeps an eye on you and offers alternatives where needed.

Is it dangerous?

Safety comes first. You practise with clear agreements about pace and force, and control always comes before hitting hard. Protective gear is available. Injuries usually come from wanting to win, and that is not the point here.

From what age can I take part?

Kids train from 8 up to and including 16, from 19:30 to 20:30. From 17 you train with the adults, from 20:30 to 21:30. For kids, the parent or guardian books and confirms the trial class.

What does a membership cost after that?

A membership starts at € 26,00 a month for kids and at € 32,00 a month for adults. You choose between a year membership with the best price and a flex membership you can cancel monthly. See all memberships.

What do I bring to my first class?

Sportswear, clean indoor shoes and a water bottle. That is all you need. Come ten minutes before the start, so there is time to say hello.

Safety and respect first

You train in a place where you are allowed to make mistakes. Control always comes before force, and nobody has anything to prove here.
